ASL can also provide SMART Industrial Platinum Resistance Thermometers (PRTs) versions of the ASL PRT's for ease of convenience, the Calibration is stored in an electronic memory chip located in the connector. Therefore moving the Smartprobe between channels or instruments is easy as the calibration data is stored in the smartprobe connector, no need to enter the calibration data into the Instrument channel now being used.
ASL Smartprobes will work with any Instrument in a passive mode and as a Smartprobe with the F100/F200/F252/F500 Precision Thermometers where the calibration data stored in the smartprobe memory will be used, remove the Smartprobe and the Instrument channel will revert back to the original settings.
The Smartprobe memory stores the calibration data and the history of the probe, including max and min values that the sensor has been used at as well as the calibration date history.
The Smartprobes can be programmed a number of ways, from the front panel of the F252 and F500 Precision Thermometers, with the F200 and ASL Smart Probe Editor Software or stand alone with the ASL US SmartPOD and PC (USB or RS232). |
