ASL's F500 provides high accuracy, multi channel temperature measurement with Platinum Resistance Thermometers - PRTs - and uses AC bridge technology as developed by ASL for Standards Laboratories throughout the world. Model F500 requires no regular recalibration, the AC circuit techniques eliminating thermal EMFs and drift, while providing excellent long term stability. Front panel data entry allows you to enter probe calibration data into the F500's memory, so that thermometer resistance can be accurately converted to temperature in °C, °F or K. This can be password protected to prohibit unauthorised or accidental data entry. The combination of proven technology and sophisticated microprocessor control gives you a reliable, easy to use precision instrument.

Using F500 with SB500 Switchbox

The 8 or 16 channel SB500 switchbox complements the F500 in appearance and performance. Adding no extra system errors you can use one to four switchboxes connected to an expansion port on the rear of the F500, with either manual switching from the keypad or under interface control. With the addition of four 16 channels SB500's this can provide 64 additional channels to the F500. This turns the F500/SB500 into a powerful logging system.
